International Blood Donor Day was celebrated in Kabul.


Every year countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day (WBDD). The event serves to raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products and to thank voluntary, unpaid blood donors for their life-saving gifts of blood

International Blood Donor Day was celebrated in Kabul. Afghanistan Blood Bank was established in 1363 and in 1366 it was renamed as World Blood Bank.

National Bank doctors say they have received 138,629 pounds of blood this year and donated blood to 12,6876 patients. They are asking the government to provide them with medical equipment.
Some people are still afraid to donate blood, But doctors make sure that donating blood cleanses a person's blood.

Dr. Nasir Sadiq, Chairman of National Blood Bank said
Donating blood saves a human life.Globally, there has been a decline in the percentage of blood transfusions after covid19.
And it has had its negative effects on the health system

Ahmad Nisar Bawar, Blood donor said  It is the human duty of every human being to give blood to the sick, To save people's lives.
Today is International Blood Donor Day. We must donate blood to save lives
