STORY: Pakistan and China joint military exercise Warrior VI culminated near the city of Kharian on Saturday (January 5).

Troops from Special Forces of Pakistan Army and PLA (Peoples Liberation Army) participated in exercise . Kahrian is a city located in Pakistan's central Punjab province.

The four week long joint exercise was aimed at sharing respective experiences in the field of counter terrorism operations and learn from each other’s expertise .

This is sixth joint exercise of the series as part of bilateral military cooperation between both the countries.

Inspector General Training and Evaluation (IGT&E) Lieutenant General Sher Afgun was chief guest on the occasion.

Pakistan and China are strategic cooperative partners and all-weather friends and the two militaries always maintain high-level exchanges as well as defence and security cooperation.
