STORY: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (October 23) arrived in Riyadh on the second leg of his two-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the Future Investment Initiative Conference (FIIC) and meet the Saudi leadership.

He was received at the airport by Governor Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Khan Hisham bin Siddique and senior officials, a press release from PM Office said.

The Prime Minister accompanied with Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister for Finance Asad Umer, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and Minister of State / Chairman Board of Investment Haroon Sharif will seek investment in Pakistan.

Earlier, the prime minister along with his delegation paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (tomb of prophet Mohammad) and offered Isha prayers and Nawafil.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said in a tweet that today the PM was scheduled to have question-answer session in the Saudi Investment Conference, meet Kadim Al Harmain Al Sharifain King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Saudi ministers. The PM will also meet international investors.

Many leaders have boycotted the conference over the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
